Welcome to Mr. Wozniak's Government/Economics classroom where we do more than learn social studies content. I model and foster multiculturalism, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills through historical inquiry, Socratic method, and risk-taking. My internalized ethics of care has empowered me to learn about each of my students as an individual by capitalizing on their interests and lived experiences; in doing so I'm better able to tailor my lessons to my students' needs. Through student-centered, multimodal, social reconconstructionist approaches to teaching, modeling my own self-efficacy, a growth mindset, and engaging with colleagues in collective efficacy, I prepare students to be inquisitive and responsible cosmopolites in an ever increasingly globalized world.
