Dear Parents/Guardians, Thank you for all the support you have given to our team this year! We are off to a great start, and I'm enjoying getting to know each of your children. You may have received a letter from the school about a very important Technology Initiative that we have begun this year. Our goal is for every teacher to have his or her own Chromebook cart with 32 Chromebooks to be used on a daily basis by our students. We know this goal will take a lot of work, but we believe the rewards will be worth it! How will we use the Chromebooks in English? I would use Google Classroom to distribute and turn in materials. It would help build class community. We would use Google docs to write and revise papers. Google offers some downloadable tools (via Google Drive) to help students with learning challenges. For the first 7 days, every gift of $50 or less will be matched! We appreciate your help!
