I want to give our students the chance to use their creativity to tell their stories. We will meet weekly throughout the year to explore different themes through creative writing. They will dream up stories that will empower them and change their personal narratives. Students will also have the option to express themselves through creating physical and digital art (we currently only have a fantastic music program, but our students love to draw and paint!). At the end of the year, we will create a publication that they can show their parents and communities, and keep forever as an example of the beautiful work they can create.
