I am requesting these supplies to use in class during Literacy and Math centers, small group instruction, and whole group learning. After recently attending a workshop for Kindergarten teachers, I found hundreds of ways to keep my students excited about their learning through the use of manipulatives and engaging texts! These supplies will not only engage my students, but will keep the FUN in learning. In an educational world that is heavily focused on assessments, I find it critical to provide my students with new and exciting ways to learn. We will use the dice for differentiated learning, markers for engaging sight word and letter activities, sit spots to enable student choice, Pete the Cat texts for whole group reading and test tubes for hands-on literacy centers.
