The funding of this project will be used to purchase three tablets to use in the classroom during small group instruction and learning centers. These tablets will add an additional technology resource for my students to use to maximize their learning. Technology in the classroom is vital to enhancing student learning through differentiated instructing. Research shows that students learn through a variety of methods and therefore instructional techniques should vary. Students from Title 1 schools sometimes lack the ability to access technology resources outside of their classrooms. Therefore, these resources are extremely vital to their learning in a technology centered world and are sure to make a difference. By having technology in the classroom, students will be able utilize free educational websites and other means of digital learning. When allowed access to these resources in the classroom, exceptional learning will occur.
