I am a 4th grade teacher in a high poverty district. I care deeply about my students and their learning. I work hard to create life long learners who have a growth mindset that they have the capability to learn anything. In order for my students to be successful in the classroom, they must have their needs met. Sometimes the solution is providing them access to technology that they don't have at home; sometimes it's providing them with emotional support. My projects all have a focus of meeting my student's needs. They also focus on materials I need in order to meet my students where they are at and take them to where they need to be. I believe that all students are capable of learning and that teachers are here to educate all students.
