To be a better reader, you need to practice reading daily. This is a motto in our classroom. We read all different types of literature throughout our day. The children love the books we read together during Guided Reading and want to share their stories with their families. Books are sent home with each child to share this gift of reading with their families. Presently we are using ziploc bags that rip very easily when being handled everyday. We are looking to use these nylon bags to transport our books to and from school safely. We will be able to share more stories with our families and "show off" our fabulous reading skills when reading books on our own levels.
