The idea is to create a more comfortable environment that helps students be their best. These options offer control to my students. They will choose where they want to sit daily. There will be a variety of high, medium and low seating, including wiggle seats, seating cushions, chairs and stand-up desks. Students will choose where they sit daily, but wherever they choose to sit, it has to help them be their best learning self. Flexible classrooms give students a choice in what kind of learning space works best for them to help them to work collaboratively, communicate, and engage in critical thinking. The goal is to change my students space in order to impact how they learn and how they interact with one another.
