Part of the difficulty of teaching Middle School aged children is that they are glued to their smartphone. Instead of fighting this trend I would like to embrace it. My goal is to bring smartphones into the classroom to create more engaging science lessons to make them more relatable to my students. I had the opportunity to use one VR headset in my class of 32 students. They were so amazed and enthralled because this technology is fairly new. I can only imagine the lessons that I could create with a class set enabling every student to experience this together.
