Understanding the order of a story and the ability to retell that story are important skills for preschoolers. As they begin to understand the concept of a story it is important for them use language and literacy props to retell and act out stories to promote crucial language development. As the children read the stories, animate the puppets, answer questions and complete each challenge, they’ll build important language and literacy skills, increase creative expression, and master early engineering concepts. The kit is perfect for integrating multiple subject areas—including STEM, literacy, creative expression and social-emotional development.
