As a teacher I have always been a firm believer that students cannot sit in a desk for 6 hours out of the day. I believe that students need constant movement throughout their day to be successful. At the beginning of this year I decided that I wanted to incorporate flexible seating into my classroom. This would give the students opportunities to be able to work on the floor, at a desk, on pillows, etc. As of right now I only have enough supplies for 3 students daily to work on the floor on pillows. My goal is to be up and running flexible seating after Winter Break!
