The items selected will help my students with their math and science. The last two years have been tricky, to say the least. These items won't solve all current issues but will help reinforce concepts that students have struggled with, due to COVID absentness and at-home learning alternatives. One of the items I choose was a model of the moon/earth/sun rotations. It is way more effective to see the process, versus reading it or watching a video on it. Another big item was the volume kits. I plan to use these with different ability groups. And my last big item was the 100 gift card to teacher-pay-teachers. This will help with distance learning. They have excellent digital lessons. The other items are basic items needed for hands-on activities. We do a lot of that in my classroom.
