My students are the most amazing, unique, loving people you could ever meet. They have prevailed over their outside circumstances (poverty) and all that life has put in their way. They have learned to be successful and go above all expectations. Because they have been so responsive, I want to allow them every opportunity. I am looping with my kids, and as we embrace our new year, I realize that the need for a mobile reading/writing center has become more and more of a reality. I feel through the goodness of people, my children will be able to have their desire of a center that meets their whole needs ( emotional/social/physical/cognitive). Reading is fundamental in a child's development. It is not only a way to learn, but it is the outlet that bridges the connections from experiences to the life of a child. I want to bring that lesson in a manner that best suits my children's needs. I have a desire to see my children reach for the sky and meet their goals and be successful!
