I teach Kindergarten at a low income school where I am the inclusion teacher. A majority of my students are in the special education program. I utilize differentiated instruction in my classroom. I plan my instruction based on my students' specific needs and areas for growth. In one of the centers, I plan to implement the tablets. I will download applications that will teach my students letter, letter sounds, vocabulary and reading comprehension in visual, entertaining ways. My students have an interest for technology but many do not have access to them at home. They will be eager to use the tablets and learn in a hands-on manner. This will greatly benefit my E.S.E. students. The cases will protect them and keep them new for years to come. Research shows that differentiated instructions improves students' learning gains immensely. Donations to my project will make a significant in my students' lives.
