Do you remember that kid in your class that would chew on the pencil, tap on the desk, or doodle on paper. Now, there is amazing devices that students can put in the palm of their hands to give them freedom of movement and decrease wandering attention. These fidget devices provide hands on movement that are quiet and do not disturb other students. I want my students to have every opportunity to succeed. These devices will keep their focus from wandering away. Every child will be able to pick their own special stress ball or fidget device to keep with them at all times to create a well focused learning environment! The balls are hands on and a great self regulation tool that can help facilitate focusing and concentration. Some are stretch balls for children who would prefer to use two hands. The Motion bubblers and timers will also provide soothing visuals that children may visit to alleviate anxiety when needed in our quiet corner. This is just what my students need to stay calm and get the most out of their lesson.
