Throughout the day, some students are required to sit a desk for up to 6 hours. As adults, we know not only is it not the most comfortable, it also can be detrimental to their development. Flexible seating allows students to pick from a variety of different spaces to work on assignments. As a middle school classroom, it's important that their growing bodies are allowed to move and find comfortable places to work. They will be offered exercise balls, bean bag chairs, a rug to lay on. The room will be set up to be a comfortable, productive work zone that encourages the students!

About my class
