These center activities will be used by students while I work on guided math with students that are at risk. Students will work in groups of 4. We need math centers, number puzzles, word building tiles and other materials. With these tools, students can learn while having fun and without much adult instruction. This will teach independent learning. These center activities will enhance learning in a fun and creative way. My wish is to give students a break from the everyday curriculum they are expected to work on for most of the day. Center activities reinforce social connectedness in students as well. There are many benefits to centers in the classroom.
