My students need easy access to high interest books. Our school has 1200 students in it, and not enough books for all of them. Our library has great books for our students, but wait lists are long and students grow impatient. The donations to this project will help me get books in my kids' hands! My goal every year is to make sure every single student that walks through my door finds a book series, author, or genre that they absolutely LOVE. I want to turn the comments like, "I hate reading!" into "Do we really have to stop reading now!?" By having a wide variety of books in my classroom, students will be exposed to a plethora of genres. Chances are, they will develop a love for reading!
