These items will provide my students with more stimulation, and less fidgeting in order to become more comfortable within their own learning environment. The more flexible seating and sensory items will increase focus, which will help them accomplish more work at their tables. We are consistently working on following our school and classroom rules, requiring us to stay in our areas and to do our best on our work. These necessary materials will help us follow and behave according to these rules in order to improve our classroom and school-wide behavior. Because of their unique learning and emotional needs, all of my students require more supports in order to lessen negative behaviors and be able to focus on growing academically and emotionally. Having these materials will be able to help us take steps into a positive direction and grow together as an encouraging classroom environment.
