Elementary students need to move!! As the school counselor in a K-4 building, I see students when they are feeling stressed, sad, angry, or when they just want to sit and talk for a bit! I have found that movement--walking around the room, bouncing a ball back and forth, and playing are great ways for students to move while they talk. I think these bouncy stability balls are exactly what my students need to help decompress while we talk/meet. Bouncing helps to relax students and makes it easier for them to talk. These stability balls will greatly enhance my ability to help my students feel calm and ready to learn!
