These materials will be featured as new books in our library, and immediately put into the hands of students and teachers. Some of these books are needed to support current curriculum and lessons that we don't have books for. One example is a lesson of kindness, one teacher is teaching her teachers what being kind is all about, but we don't currently have any books about that. This order has books that will support the teachers that teach about kindness. Another example are books about animals. The third graders in a few classes will be doing reports on animals, but our non-fiction animal books are limited. The animal books in this order will help them use primary sources along with online resources.
