These books would allow multiple students at a time to listen to the same book. CDs that come with a copy of the book are extremely important because the students will be able to follow along with the text as it is read to them. Students would be able to listen to a book they may have difficulty reading on their own. It also gives them the opportunity to listen to new titles and enjoy books they might not be able to read on their own. Students are able to listen to books build their own reading skills. The books on CD can also help focus on the sounds of the words without interruption and provided a wonderful model of fluent reading. The books will also help students increase comprehension and recognition of words and sounds on their own.
