My students are third grade students in a high poverty area in Tennessee. I teach English Language Arts to two groups of students which totals 45. They are curious and motivated to learn. They also enjoy trying new ways to learn and practice skills. I feel that it is up to me to discover new and exciting ways to teach them the skills they need to be successful in upper grades.
