My students are either from a single-parent home or low income families household. With supplying more books into our class will help each student to be able to read more in class and at home. Some of my students struggle with reading and I'm trying to find more books that will encourage them to want to practice reading more. Books are suppose to make children to want to explore more adventures. The main purpose for asking for more books is to set my first graders to enter into second grade as fluent readers. Children that read more become better writers!
