My students are from a rural area in Kansas. They attend a lower income school. We are a wide diversity of cultures and backgrounds and because of this our vocabulary and writing skills are at very different levels. All of us are needing to improve our writing and the descriptive words that we use. The thesaurus is our best resource at this time that we can utilize.
