With all the limits (time, instruction, testing) being put on the classroom teachers to improve testing scores, our students are not given the opportunities to experience creative fun times in their classrooms. I would like to use these items to set up STEM activity centers in the library for students to enjoy after they have found their books to check out. Students will finally be able to use their creative thinking skills to build and experiment with learning how to code an electronic mouse or code - a-piller. Building bricks, legos, wooden blocks, gears connectors and all other STEM items will be used to help expands the student's creative minds, increase problem solving with others students, improve time working as partners or groups. I am hoping that I get to see the light bulbs come on in the kids as they design, create and take pictures of their creations to show their parents.
