The tablets provided will allow students to put aside the pencils that they struggle with and allow them to use technology to access programs that will provide differentiated reading levels of provided texts, word prediction software for large writing assignments, and note taking software. These tablets will reduce the normal frustration that comes with writing, taking notes and much more, and allow students to really benefit from the curriculum. Your generous donation will improve our autism classroom by enabling the students to use technology to build more confident readers and writers and provide the students to generate work that truly shows their capabilities.
