No classroom supply is more important than good books. Books are the vessel that can take every child to any place they want to go. No matter their background, socioeconomic status, home-life or past experiences, books always give kids the opportunity to escape and explore the world around them. There is nothing like new books in the classroom. Having a wide variety of books available to meet the diverse needs of students is something that teachers need to continually pursue. Most schools do not provide a budget for books. What a pleasant surprise for my students when their big box of books arrives!

About my class
