Our students use Khan Academy on school computers for at least an hour/week. They have a wide variety of gaps in understanding (anywhere from adding and subtracting negative numbers to graphing linear equations to completing the square), and many struggle with the basics of arithmetic. To effectively teach them Algebra and higher level high school math, these gaps need to be addressed, and Khan Academy is a proven way to achieve that. All students can learn math, but they need the tools to help them close their gaps. These headphones will help all of our students use Khan Academy to its greatest potential and give each of them the strongest chance to chart their own educational destinies.
