I am holding a Maker Space Club at my elementary building for 4th grade students. I am building supplies for this venture. This will help me get some need supplies help start the club. The items asked for are essential in getting my club off to a great start. The items I am seeking are: Dash and Dot, which are coding robots which will allow students experience in coding and seeing the robots in action. Dash and Dot guide kids through the world of coding and robotics, turning ideas into adventures. Works with Apple and Android devices and runs on special apps that are packed with hundreds of puzzles that encourage learning through play. The second item I hope to obtain to help kick off my Maker Space Club is Little Bits which are Color coded electronic building blocks that connect together with magnets and allow for the creation of inventions while engaging in powerful hands-on learning in STEM/STEAM. There are many different bits or modules that allow for experiments. These three items will help my club get off to a great start I will also be adding items to the club as funds become available through parent donations and fund raising activities. Students will be dropped off at school 1 hours prior to the school day and be able to join in the fun. The club will meet once per week.
