A listening center will bring more opportunities for my students to grow their vocabulary, their fluency, and their imagination. Having more opportunities to be able to read to will increase their reading, listening, speaking, and writing skills. The students will discover that reading is a gateway to knowledge, discovery, exploration, entertainment, and fun! They will love being able to hold and follow along in their own book, as words are fluently read to them as they discover and learn new things. This listening center will help my students develop excellent listening, reading, and speaking skills. Along with those skills it will also help them with their writing and illustrations.
