Each day we use iPads and Chromebooks to help us with math and reading small groups. Technology has become an important part of our everyday learning, and our students are more engaged than ever when they use the computers. We use a great website called zearn to help us reinforce math skills learned with the teacher. We use imagine learning as well on iPads and Chromebooks to help students reinforce their reading skills and fill in any holes our students have. Having access to our own classroom set of headphones will really help us to more quickly get started on the computers or iPads, without having to track them down, from other teachers. We share our headphones across the school of a 1,000 students, some days it takes time to find the teacher who has them which slows down our small group learning time. We would love to have our own set of headphones to help with our transition time and use that time for more active learning.
