All children deserve a classroom environment where students can be comfortable, easily able to focus and learn. My students need a carpet for our meeting area, where all of our lessons begin and end. Students currently sit on the bare, classroom floor-- A beautiful new carpet will be cozier, more comfortable, and hygienic! With a large carpet, students will be able to sit comfortably in the classroom meeting area, learn new concepts without distraction, and actively participate in rich class discussions. Additionally, while students are working independently, small group work can also take place on the carpet to address students with special needs.
