I work with some of the most amazing individuals. We are on a Middle School campus in an urban community where 97% of our students qualify for free or reduced lunch programs. All of my students have educational designations that classify them as severely and profoundly disabled. Medical diagnoses range from more familiar names like Autism and Downs Syndrome to more obscure symptoms like Angleman Syndrome and Trisomy 18. But a better description of my class would be as a group of vivacious, engaging teenagers who love learning.

About my class
