My students will connect their writing with books. We will try and captivate our audiences the same way the famous authors do. Our class focuses on writing, but reading aloud is so important to connect all the pieces together. My class is their only time to be the author they want to be and no limits will be set. I tell them repeatedly that the sky is the limit and they are capable of writing whatever they choose to. We don't have many books in our classroom so this will open many doors for them. This will spark their imagination in more ways than I can even express. The students want to do it, but having books as examples will give them that extra push. My students are the Mighty Morphin Writing Rangers and they are so ready to morph to great authors!
