Today's world is immersed with technology. Schools have trying to find ways to help prepare their students' skills in technology for their future, but the rising cost of technology and budgets cuts makes this very difficult. Our school recently received a grant allowing students in our cooperation K-12 to be 1:1 in technology. This has been a huge step forward in our goals of preparing our students for their future. Unfortunately, our color printer has died and we don't have the funds to replace it. I would like to be able to purchase a new color printer for my students to use in many of the project based activities I have designed across the curriculum areas. Without a color printer, students lack the opportunity to view their performance in today's colorful mediums. I feel that purchasing a color printer for my students to use will provide them with the motivation they need to excel in their projects.
