They can use these portable resources in various places inside and outside of the classroom whether they are working in cooperative groups or independently. Students will be able to take their clipboards on field trips and to other classrooms to record observations, take notes, and so much more. "Be stubborn about your goals and flexible about your methods." I want students to be actively learning and recording their thinking. These portable resources will allow students to choose to work at their desk or around the room. Providing students with choice and options will help keep them engaged.
