We are a Title I school with students from very diverse backgrounds. Some of my students are refugees or asylees. The students are still very eager to learn, as they believe there is a lot to offer in America. We work as a family as we learn about the world around us and each other. The students are ready to know about the world beyond our neighborhood. We will use the magazines to not only learn about the current news headlines but the science magazine will be used to supplement our science curriculum and give students opportunities to work on projects on their own.
