My second graders missed out on the last 2 months of kindergarten. They spent most of last year in distance learning. They need structured experiences to use strategies to solve problems. Our science curriculum requires that they: Make observations to construct an evidence-based account of how an object made of a small set of pieces can be disassembled and made into a new object 2-PS1-3. Materials like the LEGO Gadgets and the STEM cards will be used together to create a finished project that moves a certain way or is capable of fulfilling more than one functional purpose.

About my class
