I'm an 8th grade English teacher at a public school in Chelsea, MA. I strive to teach books that are exciting and relevant to my students' lives. And when I'm forced to teach books that aren't- I do my best to make them relevant. My primary goal in 8th grade English is to help students learn to ask questions that promote deep thinking and critical engagement with the world around them. I'm lucky to have passionate, intellectually curious, and driven students. But we're an under-served school and there's never room in the budget for all the books we need! Give us a hand!
