Many of my students will come to school on the first day with no supplies at all. While this is not the case for all of my students, I want everyone to be able to have the same opportunities to be successful in my classroom. How will the supplies be used? A math classroom can never have too many pencils, Kleenex are always in scarce supply in a high school, and Clorox wipes will help keep the inevitable germs at bay during the school year. These supplies will help my students all year! In addition, in my Algebra class I have each student keep a math notebook. We glue in all sorts of things and take notes every day. I have the kids use colored post-it notes to write important information on and stick in their notebooks. Writing info on colored paper can help some visual learners remember things better.
