I am requesting small step stools to be used in the science labs at my two schools. We have tall laboratory tables which are excellent for spreading out large science projects and for encouraging scientist collaboration. However, my kindergartners need to be able to reach the tables! They currently have the option of standing and working above their heads, or perching precariously on tall table stools. I would love these step stools to help them better reach the tables to complete their scientist work. My students in other grades will utilize these stools as well as a flexible choice. Some of them find the tall stools uncomfortable and then use them in unsafe ways. These step stools will help them stay comfortable and safe in the science lab.
