My students are unable to purchase the most basic of school supplies, but I refuse to let their learning be affected by that. My students often trade and grade -- requiring the use of different colored pens which will help them determine which questions are right or wrong. I am asking for many sticker collections to ensure that they are rewarded in the simplest ways for their hard work. The hot glue gun is to make decorating the classroom easier as well as the poster markers. This quarter, each of my students will be reading the class novel and an independent reading book. This requires some sort of organization system that they can maintain to keep themselves and my classroom organized! While this project is a mixture of supplies, organizational tools, and stickers, these are all items that will help the classroom culture grow and make Language Arts class a little more colorful and a lot more fun.
