I am requesting the numerous Kevin Henkes books as part of our Author Study. We will be reading his texts to understand him as an author and illustrator. As a way to foster engagement for all, students will be listening to his texts on both the projector and on computers, thus we are requesting headphones, a speaker for the projector, a new rug and a projector cart. We will be studying his characters in depth and students will be writing a narrative using "Kevin Henkes" style and voice as their culminating project which is why we are requesting blank books and organizing materials.

About my class
