Students will be using headphones to listen as they watch educational math videos from Khan Academy and Youtube to aide them in their research on math concepts they've been assigned through Google Classroom to learn. After watching these videos, students are normally broken up into small groups where they collaborate to complete a task based upon the videos watched. For many of my students, being able to actually listen to the videos is crucial because they either struggle in English or are designated as English Language Learners because their first language isn't English. It's so rewarding to see the students take ownership of their learning and having headphones to be able to listen to the academic language from the videos will definitely be a step in helping them do that.
