The colored pencils, markers, and clay materials will be used in a variety of art projects completed by my fourth through eighth grade students. They will also be more focused and organized by having objectives and tasks posted on separate boards for each grade level. Students' energy will be spent and focused more on generating ideas and creating art rather than waiting for and trying to find the materials they need. The older students will explore colored pencil techniques which set a foundation for future projects. Younger students will learn about the elements of art through the creation of monsters using a range of these 2D and 3D materials.
