Can you imagine how difficult it is for students with graphomotor skill problems to produce written work? Unless you have witnessed this, you cannot know how using technology opens the world to these students. I teach students in grades 9-12 with special needs. Writing is an insupportable obstacle for some. As hard as I try, sometimes their work is impossible to decipher. However, when they use the computer and see their work in print, it opens a new world of confidence for them.
