How many people think sitting for 7+ hours in a day sounds like a great way to spend their time? Not many, and my 3rd grade students feel the same way! There is a simple way to allow students to get their wiggles out while sitting at their desk. A band wrapped around the front of the children's chair legs allows them to have fun and stay focused on all the important learning we do together! Currently, I have 2 bands in my room and my students are thrilled when it's their day to use the "special chair." Let's make this a room where every child has the opportunity to have fun, get their energy out, and learn.
