Writing is practiced daily in my 3rd grade class. Every week we go through the writing process. These writing materials will create an engaging writing environment where students can easily keep track of their writing progress. The writing folders will help the students better understand each piece of the writing process and its function. It will also allow them to stay organized as they move their writing piece through each phase of writing. The writing posters/charts and markers will help me effectively teach writing as I model how to use the graphic organizers and correctly plan for a writing piece. These writing materials will most definitely support creative writers in their beginning stages. The privacy shields will also provide each writer their respective, thinking space. I know my students will be just as excited and eager to receive these materials as I am!
