Technology can play a huge role not only in providing students access to scientific information, but also in creating a platform to further enhance their experiences and understandings. Unfortunately, underprivledged students living in this high poverty community don't have equatable access to technology. The iPad pro would allow students to research information for their investigations and also to capture images of the scientific process throughout their investigation. We have recently started using google classroom, so the device would be a perfect segway to upload their work and create slides of their investigation/findings. I find empowering kids with the use of technology/multimedia leads to higher interest and investment in their learning, which yields an optimal learning experience and deeper understanding.
